History 1945: Bradley Brothers Lumber Co. started. 1947: Became Bradley Brothers Contracting and built about 30 homes in the Cresson area. 1950: Became Bradley & Sons, Inc. and opened the appliance store in October. Sold Maytag and Philco until Philco went out of business. Sold Westinghouse until 1990. 1995: Became Maytag Home Appliance Center. Bradley & Sons have been long standing members of the Cresson, PA business community. They have provided quality plumbing, heating, and appliance service to homeowners, schools, and businesses. Mr. Bradley (Mick) is past president of the Cresson Chamber of Commerce. In 2001, he received the volunteer of the year award for his work for Cresson Heritage Days.
